Plaza closed at Newlands Building for paver replacement (Photos)

The plaza outside one of my favorite buildings in downtown Bethesda, the Francis G. Newlands Building (a.k.a. 2 Bethesda Metro Center), is getting an upgrade, requiring it to close temporarily. Brick pavers are being replaced. The 15-story office building was developed by the Chevy Chase Land Company in 1999.

Since Dyer likes this building, maybe they could build a replica in Westbard. Maybe where the Springhouse used to be.

8:36: Westbard isn't on top of a Metro station.
