Dolcezza is down to seven lives at Bethesda Row. The gelato and coffee shop stunned fans by announcing it would close last fall due to the financial impact of the pandemic on its business. Then, just a month later, the local chain announced the Bethesda Row location would get a brief reprieve through the holiday season. But Santa Claus has come and gone, and Dolcezza is still in business at 7111 Bethesda Lane.
And the shop isn't just still open. They're even offering new pastries from Howard County's Rustiq, and two llmited-time specials: Passionfruit Mousse, and Blood Orange Sherbet.

Hi Robert, in talking with staff, Bethesda Row now plans to stay for the long term. Ownership has also reopened their Dupont Circle and CityCenter locations, which were also slated for permanent closure.
Everyone order something! Support local business
They should be able to thrive as the weather turns warmer.
Lots of foot traffic to Hawkers next door too.
They've survived the worst.
I can't believe these places are still in business given how expensive they are. I guess people are still going.
Don't go there. Stay home, stay safe, save lives. #FlattenTheCurve
