It seems that the lack of upscale retail at Westbard is once again attracting drug activity. I certainly hope the committee comes to their senses and gets a Vineyard Vines in there quickly!

11:28: Probably more related to young recreational drug users or existing low income housing on Westbard. Having said that, I am hopeful Equity One will bring the best possible tenants to join the existing popular retail and services at The New Westwood shopping center.

Like the Nixon administration did nearly a half-century ago, Dyer tries to portray drug use as primarily or exclusively a black problem.

5:58: So are Hans Riemer, Nancy Floreen, and George Leventhal having a "black problem" when they are on record trying to stop Maryland from electing its first black Senator multiple elections in a row?

Now Dyer is censoring criticism of Alan Keyes? Wow.

Robert Dyer said...

5:28: Alan Keyes has nothing to do with this crime report, nor to the County Council's preference for ensuring Maryland's U.S. Senate delegation is white and male.

Ran for Senate in Maryland in 1992 and 1996.

Ran for President in 2000 and 2008.

Ran for Senate in Illinois in 2004.

Lost every single time.

"During the 1992 election, Keyes attracted controversy when he took a $8,463/month salary from his campaign fund."

"In 2005, when [his daughter] Maya Keyes was 20 years old, she came out as a lesbian. There were reports her family threw her out of the house and stopped talking to her. In an interview with Metro Weekly, a Washington, D.C., LGBT newspaper, Maya confirmed that her father 'cut off all financial support'."

"On November 14, 2008, Keyes filed a lawsuit—naming as defendants California Secretary of State Deborah Bowen, President-elect Barack Obama, Vice President-elect Joe Biden, and California's 55 Democratic electors—challenging Obama's eligibility for the U.S. Presidency. The suit requested that Obama provide documentation that he is a natural born citizen of the United States."

"Following the inauguration, Keyes alleged that President Obama had not been constitutionally inaugurated, refused to call him president, and called him a 'usurper' and a 'radical communist'. Keyes also claimed that President Obama's birth certificate had been forged and he was not qualified to be president."

"Keyes has criticised the papal encyclical Laudato si', stating that its demands amount to '...global penal colony under the totalitarian control of a government with unprecedented global powers'. In the same article Keyes likened Pope Francis to 'Marx, Stalin or Mao Zedong'."

Maryland Senator Barbara Mikulski is "male"? Wow.

Robert Dyer said...

6:00: Never said that. I'm talking about after the 2016 election, when you could end up with two old white guys from Maryland in the Senate.

Robert Dyer said...

5:59: Great, so now that you've confirmed your mental illness, what the * does Alan Keys have to do with any topics being discussed here?

I guess you will face a bit of a dilemma if Dan Reed runs for the County Council in 2018.

6:28: How so?

The one guy in Maryland who remembers Alan Keyes is a reader on Robert Dyer's site!
