Cordell Ave. remains closed at Old Georgetown as Pepco work continues in Bethesda (Photos)

A complicated set of repairs to Pepco's underground feeder lines continues at the intersection of Cordell Avenue and Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. Crews are attempting to repair damage apparently caused by WSSC workers repairing their own system in that spot. The tent remains over a manhole being used in the operation.

These feeder lines supply power to Suburban Hospital, among other essential facilities in the vicinity. Cordell Avenue remains closed at Old Georgetown Road as of this writing, as does one of the sidewalks there.
