Dates set for Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week Winter 2017

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington has announced its Winter 2017 Metropolitan Washington Restaurant Week will be held between Monday, January 30 and Sunday, February 5. Participating restaurants will offer fixed-price, multi-course menus costing $35 for dinner, $22 for lunch, and - for the first time ever - $22 for brunch.

A new feature for Winter 2017 will be a rewards program. Anyone who books their dining reservation through the official RAMW restaurant week site, and opts into the rewards program, will be eligible for special deals and prizes from restaurant week sponsors like event tickets and restaurant gift cards.

The participating restaurants haven't been revealed on the website yet, but usually include establishments in Bethesda, Rockville and Silver Spring alongside their DC counterparts. When they are added, you'll be able to search by type of cuisine and location to find your favorites.

This won't appeal to your alt-right base.

7:19: The Seventh State said I was running to the left of the County Council. The Washington Post called me a "Rockefeller Republican." You sound like a nut, but who's going to listen to an anonymous nut coward like you vs. those credible publications?

"Hans Riemer. Hard not to like a guy who tweets back at you even as he engages in the debate. Still optimistic but perhaps a bit more careworn after four years on the Council, Hans did a good job of touting specific concrete legislative achievements."

The same not so anonymous failed blogger airing his daily grievances against Robert Dyer. Will he ever move on from hating Mr. Dyer?

Robert Dyer said...

7:48: And those achievements were? Definitely not his! The Washington Post said Riemer had none, and withdrew their endorsement of him.

Context of a quote matters.

Chevy Chase is no fan of Hans Riemer, who was paid off by the Chevy Chase Land Co., et al to support the Purple Line and Chevy Chase Lake sector plan.

Chevy Chase residents whose houses were built by the Chevy Chase Land Company don't like it when they build houses for other people.

Perfect illustration of the NIMBY mentality.

"The same not so anonymous..."

And #UnsignedDyer responds just 7 minutes later, and just one minute before SignedDyer.

7:59: I've never been paid by either company, nor any other developer. You sound like you've lost your wits.

Robert Dyer said...

8:06: As a coward too scared to put his name to his comments, you make yourself sound like a complete moron criticizing someone like me, who does put his name on every comment. Shut up before somebody punches you in the face, boy wonder.

We find out who is the real source of hate in Montgomery County, folks - and what a surprise, it's the County Council's own people...violently assaulting people with different political views, committing hate crimes, and coming on here to post hate speech. Sad, but instructive to the voters in 2018. We won't support these fearmongering, corrupt clowns.

@816 then why do you not allow any comment on a Greenhill article and delete the comment when people comment about them elsewhere?

Why does the same bitter "anonymous" guy post his grievances against Dyer here daily?
He should be seeking counseling, not ranting against Mr. Dyer every morning.

It's telling that the only local journalist with skepticism towards our local politicians gets so many "anonymous" personal threats daily. Sounds more like Putin or Castro cracking down, not the county government I used to know.

8:32: If you post a disparaging or defamatory comment about the company, yes, it obviously will be deleted. Stick to legitimate discussion, and you should have no problem.

Anonymous has so many grievances...it's so sad.

#UnsignedDyer @ 8:33 AM:

"He gets so many personal threats daily."

You mean like this one?

"Shut up before someone punches you in the face, boy wonder."

Robert Dyer said...

9:37: There are a few thousand people in Bethesda who would like to punch you. That's just a fact. Not surprising, given your compulsive posting of hate speech and threats on my blog. You're facing 2 years in the federal slammer for cyberstalking, punk. Not a good look for Leventhal and Riemer to be associated with you.

It's just telling the negative attacks against the particular journalist here.

Just happens that Mr. Dyer is the only journo in local media with at least a hint of skepticism towards our local politicians. Meanwhile, other writers are constantly praised and shared on social media by our government and elected officials.

They claim want they "more voices", but only if those voices that coddle and praise them. Lazy journalism at its best.

Bethesda residents are pretty smart and figured this out already. The insane Westbard plan experience has been instructive.

Dyer is constantly praised by his sockpuppets on his tiny blog.

Anonymous said...

Because he is constantly insulted by you.

You and your weird obsession with him.

The old BethesdaNOW/PR firm tactic: post crazy comments on Dyer's blog then step back and say wow, Dyer's blog is crazy because of those crazy anonymous comments I posted.
