Is Wayne Rooney buying a house in Bethesda?

International soccer star Wayne Rooney, now playing for D.C. United in America's MLS, has been reported to be house hunting in the D.C. area for several weeks. His real estate search has been big media news in his native England.

British reports have all pointed to Rooney settling on a mansion in Washington, D.C. However, one local real estate source tells me that Rooney may instead be coming to Bethesda. This person reports that Rooney's choice of neighborhood is Bradley Manor-Longwood, off Bradley Boulevard near the Woods Academy.

6:01 AM - He's having a tunnel built between his mother's basement and 6:39's.

Sears is still open despite false reports earlier this year. Dyer broke the story on the accurate 2019 closure date.

Tastee was selling but contingent on Woodmont Grill selling as well. Dyer's reporting was confirmed by Marriott spox at a public meeting.

Kaldis listed stuff for sale online, saying they were liquidating.

Any questions?
