Signs lit for Anthropologie & Co. and Terrain Cafe at Bethesda Row

More signs have been installed at the future Anthropologie & Co. at Bethesda Row, and some of them are now lit. Among the new signs are blade signs, meant to be seen by pedestrians walking along the sidewalks outside the former Barnes & Noble bookstore, and some for the restaurant that will be part of the new store, Terrain Cafe. Scroll down to see these, plus some exclusive updates on the interior construction of the store and cafe.

What’s a blade sign? Why not identify it in your photos?

5:12: I literally explained it in the same sentence. They are the signs - shown in the photos above - that sit out sideways from the building, so that they are facing pedestrians walking past on the sidewalk.

No, you did not say what they are. You said they are in the pictures. Which show several signs.

7:18: Great full-time job trolling, Saul Alinsky. Can your "Anna" persona read English, or not? The sentence that mentioned the blade signs in the article explained what they were IN THE SAME SENTENCE. With that information, it is very easy to recognize which of the signs in the photos are blade signs.

Nope. That's not an explanation of what "blade signs" are. "Meant to be seen by pedestrians walking along the sidewalks" describes every type of sign there is. It is not the same as "sit out sideways from the building", in your follow-up comment.

Also, the signs themselves are barely visible in the photo, as they are a black background, with "Anthropologie" in very small letters, taken in the middle of the night.

Here is a more precise definition: "A blade sign is a type of projecting sign mounted on a building facade or storefront pole or attached to a surface perpendicular to the normal flow of traffic."

Dyer claims to have "thousands" of readers, but then claims that every single person who comments here is the same person.

Are these blade signs legal under MoCo Cartel signage regulations?

No Anna, you are the one who looks bad. Every time you post cynical comments, you sound like a bully who does nothing constructive with her time. All you do is attack the blogger.
