Capital Teas now appears to be permanently closed

The windows are now covered at Capital Teas at 4806 Bethesda Avenue. In late August, the store closed, and the company stated at the time that the closure was "temporary." The Annapolis based company, which also closed its Annapolis mall location earlier this year, is currently only selling its products on Amazon.

It's been closed since well before your previous report.

I love what Dyer is doing for MoCo with his reports!

Dyer was four days late in reporting Bethesda Curry Kitchen's temporary closure, and now is at least one day late in reporting their re-opening.

Luckily no one reads his blog, so they won't lose any business because of his tardy reporting.

"At the time of Gold Leaf’s opening, Owner Somadas Weerasinghe said customers had complained at his former shop that prices for his baked goods were too high, so he decided not to renew the lease. In coming to downtown Bethesda, Weerasinghe said he was seeking a wealthier clientele who would pay the prices he charged, which he attributed to the high-quality ingredients he used to make his baked goods."

LOL...he thought it would be so easy to find dumb Bethesdians and separate them from their money.

12:31: You're a prolific liar, and what's more, this is the ONLY news outlet that reported the wire being knocked down and the closure. You sound like a complete moron.

7:10: Classic Saul Alinsky. "It's been closed for month!" "That sign was up for a month!" All lies. You're a testosterone-challenged hobo whining from the cheap seats, taking shots at people who are actually getting stuff done.

@3:13PM: Did you write about it on your blog?

The interns are slowly getter around to reporting the bakery closure. I guess anything not happening within view of their windows is asking a lot for coverage.
