Bethesda Trader Joe's opening delayed this morning at 7900 Wisconsin Avenue

Trader Joe's
wasn't able to open on time this morning at 7900 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Their refrigeration system is down, according to a sign posted in the window. "We will open as soon as possible! Thank you for your patience!" it says.

Does the food go bad when this happens... Like 1/2 sale prices at Harris Teeter on Ben & Jerry's knowing that the product melted, then refroze which might not be illegal in this county but IMHO is highly unethical.

6:03: When Giant has a power outage, I have seen the employees place plastic coverings over the refrigerated and freezer cases and use dry ice, but because Trader Joe's was closed altogether, it was not possible to examine what measures they take in this case.
