Greek Aroma Mediterranean Grill has closed in the Dining Terrace food court at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. Their space has been walled off. Greek Aroma opened in November 2022. The small local chain has two other locations, in Frederick and Riverdale, Maryland.

As a frequent mall walker, I was not surprised to see Greek Aroma follow Half Smoke and Butter Me Up out the door. Next one out: Malia's Kitchen. It seems like only the well-known chains are thriving in the Montgomery Mall eatery.
What the dining area really needs is a great place to sit down and have a meal. This mall and Tysons, used to have Slades which was a Houston's knock off but very good and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Why can't a concept like that come to the theater level or elsewhere?
It would do very well for those who want a meeting spot and a meal that isn't fast food service.
I'll put my money on Ya Mon! Island Grill, there's never anyone there.
The greek aroma had the absolute worst reviews on google maps. You can’t survive in todays world without curating your online reputation
Does anyone really want Greek food in the mall? This was destined to fail.
I draw the line at gloves and hand washing. One person cooking and handling money, no way. See a person handling money with gloves? No way! They're not then changing them to handle food! No way! Methinks some of our principal food handlers are culturally averse to hand washing too.
