Gas is pumping again at Old Georgetown Road Exxon in Bethesda

The new gas tanks have been filled, and the new gas pumps activated, at the Exxon at 7975 Old Georgetown Road in Bethesda. It took four months to complete the underground work, during which time the business owner could only rely on sales from the convenience store at the gas station for revenue. Drivers will be energized to see the gas prices lit up once again on the digital sign. About the actual prices...not so much. But "last gas" before the Beltway, and one of the last gas stations remaining in downtown Bethesda, can get away with "boardwalk prices."

That c-store is the money maker. There's a reason that Exxon and Mobil got out of the business of selling gas at the pump a decade or two ago. The environmental impact of constant gas drippings is well known. Think about that the next time you move the nozzle from your car to the pump. Give it a few shakes first and last. Mother Earth and my heirs thank you.

In case you're wondering, they sell it at the wellhead now. This is a distributor paying to sell their gas using their name on property that the distributor bought from them. It's the distributor's property being held in some sort of limited liability business that can declare bankruptcy so the distributor can walk away from the stink with no loss of personal fortune. Who pays to clean up the stink before it gets rebuilt. Elect Democrats or it will be us.

Newsflash: democrats are running the show and have thus far proven that they don't have the management skills to be dogcatcher.

This is an example legacy media telling those who can't think on their own that there is no inflation, the border is secure, climate change & roads are racist and crime is less now regardless of stores needing to lock all merchandise behind glass. Things will only get better if you give leftists more power...
