Accident at River Road and Ogden Road in Bethesda, lanes blocked

An accident around 7:00 PM tonight at the intersection of River Road and Ogden Road in Bethesda is impeding traffic in both directions. Police and fire personnel are on the scene, and officers are directing traffic. I would avoid the area right now, and use an alternative route.

To say that many drivers routinely exceed the speed limit along there would be an understatement. The speeding traffic on my residential street near that spot is reason #3 why I will be packing up and moving out of state.

Guess they'll be lowering the speed limit again.....

THIS IS KIND OF ACCIDENTS ARE HAPPENING EVERY YEAR!!!

THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO CELEBRATE SENIORS!!! SAD, SAD, SAD

PARENTS WHO FACILITATE EXCITING CARS!!!

NEW DRIVERS ARE NOT CAREFUL AT ALL, SPECIALLY SENIOR STUDENTS

SPECIALLY THOSE WITH AFFLUENZA!!!!!!!!!!!

The "new" speed limit along there definitely is not adhered to.

If I drive 35 on river road in that stretch, I'll get tailgated and then have someone angrily drive around me..lol
