Demolition operations continue at the site of Christ Lutheran Church of Bethesda at 8011 Old Georgetown Road, at the edge of downtown Bethesda. The steeple was still up yesterday, although the cross had been removed. A large hole has been punched through the rear wing of the church. The house of worship will be replaced by an apartment building; services have been moved to the nearby Imagination Stage.

Robert, is there anywhere that says how many housing units have already been or are in the process of being approved/constructed in Bethesda, since 2000?
