Here's a look at the progress at the site of the future Solaire 7607 Old Georgetown Road (and that is an unmemorable, mind-numbingly long name I would be demanding to change if I were the marketing firm) apartment tower in downtown Bethesda. Of course, with high-rises, you have to go down before you can go up. Hence, we're looking at an excavation here at the former home of La Madeleine. Developed by Washington Property Company, the Solaire will house 198 units and 1500 square feet of retail, and is scheduled for delivery in late 2023.

Wash Property is hilarious. The two Bethesda buildings with the same name is pretty bad, but in downtown Silver Spring they have three buildings named the Solaire all within 1 block. Two of them are literally next door to each other. It's so dumb and contributes nothing to their branding effort other than confusing the heck out of apartment hunters.
