A secure entry system has been installed in the lobby of the new Marriott International headquarters building at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. If you've been to some of the more-recently constructed office buildings in Northen Virginia and Washington, D.C., you've probably seen this type of entry gate or turnstyle system. Employees are able to pass through with their issued credentials. Building guests have to obtain a limited pass from the security desk in the lobby to enter, and gain access to the elevator lobby. Marriott is expected to begin moving employees from its North Bethesda HQ down here in phases, beginning in July.
