Mobile cranes have been brought in to assist with a job in the vicinity of Bethesda Place and the new Marriott International headquarters at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. All southbound lanes of Wisconsin between Norfolk Avenue and Middleton Lane are expected to remain closed until 4:00 PM today, Sunday, June 26. 2002.. There are actually at least two mobile cranes being used for this work, the nature of which has not been specified by the Maryland State Highway Administration, which authorized the lane closures.
